BB King

Like most eight-year-old boys with a love of drawing, I began copying images of my favourite comic book heroes such as Spiderman, Batman and the great Superman himself! Now, after forty years of singin’ and swingin’ The Blues, I find myself making a natural return to the painting of heroes, though of the musical kind. As front man of ‘King Pleasure and The Biscuit Boys’ I have been fortunate enough to meet and play with many of the greats; legends such as B.B. King and Ray Charles, both of which I’ve painted, together with many more of my personal favourite hipsters, innovators and general real cool cats.
