Terms and conditions

These terms apply to enquiries and sales made through Signature Art FZ-LLC, RAKEZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. A sale is made when we confirm the work, the price and the destination in writing (email is enough).

Works

Pieces are original or limited edition and are shown by agreement with the artists. Titles, sizes and photographs are given in good faith. Colour on a screen will not match the work in the room. Availability can change without notice until we confirm the sale.

Price and tax

Prices are on request unless a figure is shown. Invoices are in AED unless we agree another currency in writing. The listed price is the amount payable; VAT is not added at checkout. Duty, VAT or handling outside the UAE is the buyer’s cost. See Shipping.

Payment

Payment is due before dispatch unless we agree otherwise. Card payments are taken on a Stripe page. Stripe processes the card. Signature Art does not see or store the card number. The payment is made to Signature Art FZ-LLC. Title passes when the work is paid for in full. We may cancel an unconfirmed enquiry at any time.

Delivery

Works ship from the artist. We will say the timing before you pay.

Shipping insurance

Works leaving an artist’s studio usually travel under that artist’s packing and carrier cover. We confirm what is in place on each sale before the piece leaves. That cover is the artist’s arrangement with their carrier or insurer, not a separate Signature Art policy, and it may not equal the full sale price at your door.

Works travel under the artist’s packing and the carrier we or they book. If you want extra transit cover on top of that, ask when you enquire. A claim follows the insurer’s or carrier’s rules. International orders remain non-refundable except for proven transit damage, as above.

Returns

UAE deliveries: tell us within 48 hours of receipt if the work arrived damaged. We need photographs of the packaging and the piece. We will repair, replace or refund at our choice if the damage happened in transit.

International orders are not refundable, except where the work arrives damaged in transit. Change of mind, taste, size or colour on the wall is not a ground for return on an international sale. Damaged international deliveries follow the same 48-hour notice and photograph rule as UAE deliveries.

Commission and sculpture

Commissioned work is made to the brief we agree. Deposits on commission are not refundable once the studio or foundry has started. Lead times are estimates.

Images and names

Photographs and text on this site are for selling the physical work. They are not a licence to copy the image. Some paintings depict public figures; they are original paintings, not licensed merchandise.

Law

UAE law applies. Disputes are heard in the courts or free-zone forum that has jurisdiction over Signature Art FZ-LLC. Last updated 29 August 2026.
