Shipping and duties

Works ship from the artist’s studio. We will tell you the timing before you pay.

UAE

The price shown is the price you pay. VAT is not added at checkout. Original paintings moving inside the UAE do not usually attract customs duty.

Outside the UAE

If a work leaves the UAE or the UK for another country, that country’s duty, VAT or handling fee is yours. We declare the piece at the price we agreed. We cannot quote another government’s tariff. Ask your broker or local customs office if you need a number before you commit.

Insurance

Works leaving an artist’s studio usually travel under that artist’s packing and carrier cover. We confirm what is in place before dispatch. That cover is the artist’s arrangement, not a separate Signature Art policy, and it may not equal the full sale price at your door.
