Stanislav Lazarov

Stanislav Lazarov was born in 1984. He is a contemporary Bulgarian painter, a bachelor of mural arts (2010), and a member of the Burgas Artists’ Association. He has worked mainly in oil for more than twenty years.

He has held sixteen solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad, including Moldova, France and Spain, and in Sofia, Plovdiv and Burgas, with further group shows in Bulgaria and Montenegro. The paintings are held in private collections in Bulgaria and internationally.

The work is not tied to one subject. He builds landscape toward magical realism: quiet intensity, the presence of nature, and something intimate in the room. Travel, and the search for the right form and colour, is the daily work of the studio.
