Sannib

Sannib is a British contemporary artist of Syrian-Lebanese descent, living in London. His work is contemporary portraiture and abstract fields, often with gold laid over the face.

He began painting at ten, without formal lessons. He later studied figurative and abstract painting with the Syrian painter Farid Georges (Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma), and worked on abstract and acrylic under Mard Issa, a graduate of Kunstskolen i Bergen and a student of Jan Sæther.
