Ramona Pintea

Ramona Pintea is an internationally exhibited contemporary artist known for her bold colour, expressive figurative paintings and distinctive visual language. Her work explores identity, human connection and the complexities of contemporary life, combining powerful imagery with a strong sense of individuality and emotional depth. With exhibitions across Europe and the United States, including London, Miami, Washington, D.C. and Bucharest, her paintings are held in private collections in 24 countries and in the collection of the Hellenic Museum of Michigan. Pintea studied Fine Art in London and Fashion Design at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. Her multidisciplinary background continues to influence her approach to colour, composition and visual storytelling. Her acclaimed Urban Queen series established her signature approach to contemporary portraiture, combining strength, vulnerability and psychological presence. In 2022, she co-created the international #WearYourCrown campaign, extending the visual language of her paintings into a global initiative. Her more recent work expands beyond portraiture to explore the relationship between humanity, nature and the environments we create. Blending figurative elements with abstraction, layered textures and vibrant colour, her paintings invite reflection on identity, progress and our place in an ever-changing world.
