Paola Imposimato

Paola Imposimato is a painter from Florence and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts there. Her work is held in public and private collections in Italy and abroad, and she has taken part in many solo and group exhibitions. She has painted 133 works for historical Palio reenactments across Italy, and she has worked with the fashion houses Roberto Cavalli and Prada and with publishers in Italy and Spain. Her paintings range from portraits and sacred art to works on canvas, wood, leather, ceramics and wax, and to wall paintings. Among her awards are the Bronze Medal of the Florence Award in 2010, presented in the Salone dei Cinquecento at Palazzo Vecchio, the Award of the Regional Board of Tuscany in 2011, and the First National Award of Painting, City of Lastra, in 2013. In 2018 she was appointed Dama di Parte Guelfa.
